The Silhouette

The story a shadow tells

Silhouettes intrigue me. They seem like faded memories suspended in time. The viewers of my artwork will know what they are seeing, but each viewer will fill in some of the details based on memory or imagination.

I have recently made a wonderful discovery. I have loved photography since I was a child. Soon after college I discovered graphic design and animation. And over the last several years I have enjoyed creating abstract digital art pieces. So the wonderful discovery is the combination of these mediums and some samples of the results are available in my new Silhouette gallery. The whole process is an absolute joy to perform and I am grateful for this opportunity to share it with you.

The main lobby of this building is a sight to behold with it's ceiling murals painted by San Francisco artists, Harry Hopp and John McQuarrie, that depict important moments of Utah history. The building was renovated in the 1970's to repair damage and the original slate roof was
